A BPL fixture opens with around sixty markets and passes two hundred once the first ball is bowled. Most of them are noise. Five carry almost all of the money, and knowing exactly how each one settles is worth more than any tip on any channel.

A line, usually around 155 to 165 at Sher-e-Bangla and higher at Sylhet. It settles on runs scored in the first innings only, extras included. If the innings is shortened by rain the market is normally void rather than adjusted, because the revised target changes what a total even means. Check the slip: some operators settle on the reduced innings instead, and that difference is worth reading before, not after.

Priced per team, so you are backing a player to top-score for his own side rather than across the match. If he does not bat at all, the bet is void almost everywhere. If he is dismissed for a duck he simply loses. Two batters level at the top usually splits the stake using dead-heat rules, which halves the return — a detail that surprises people the first time it happens.

Prices redraw between deliveries and a wicket moves them further than any boundary. The important thing is not the market, it is the delay: the stream you are watching sits six to nine seconds behind the ground and the operator's price feed does not. Anything you just saw has already been priced. Treating a live stream as an edge is the most expensive misunderstanding in cricket betting.

Totals and individual-player markets are the ones that get voided, because the revised innings breaks the assumption they were priced on.
